HARDWARE OVERVIEW
AB-Extender is a fixed broadband wireless (5GHz) system providing a high speed point-to-point (PTP) channel for Internet, VPN, or other data applications via either ATM or Ethernet interface.
Each radio link utilizes two AB-Extender units (a Master and a Slave) each of which includes:
An environmentally sealed unit with integrated antenna, transceiver, modem, and control
An internal wall junction box - with RJ45 socket to provide Ethernet or ATM25 connection - connected to the transceiver via an external data cable
A 48 VDC power transformer
